They were awed and thrilled to see the pretty handmade envelopes in the garden. When they discovered their own names inside, they squealed with delight and ran indoors to show me.

Emily, age 9, loved the description of Fairy wings, and it was perfect timing because we had just found some dragonflies the day before and had spent time examining their wings closely.

Robert, age 5, who is just beginning to read, was trying to read his to himself before asking for help. Talk about motivation to practice reading!

. . . Emily took her brother by the hand and ran outside with him to check the flower boxes. It is so sweet to watch the two of them become so connected through Appletta. For a boy and a girl, four years apart in age, to find something they can relate to and share together is really a treat for us all.

Emily is dying to find out how Appletta makes the paper (Appletta answers this question in the new Deluxe Green Set!). She has told all of her friends about Appletta and I'm sure their parents will be contacting you soon, so many have asked me for your web address.

We have seven more sets of letters to go and weeks of more fun with Appletta! I can't wait. Thank you so very much!
